BACKGROUND

Founded in 2013 by brothers Jack and Alex Willcocks, Burbeck Group has grown significantly in the last few years, and is now one of the market leading home-staging, interiors and bespoke turn-key furniture solutions providers in the UK.

With the business growing rapidly and their recent launch of the Burbeck at Home range, the team had three websites and two brand social media channels. They were seeking support in clarifying their messaging, amalgamating their websites, and optimising them for SEO. They also wanted to elevate their social media presence by defining clear visual and content identities for the Interiors and At Home brands.

OUR SOLUTION

Sandford created in depth digital strategies that outlined our recommendations for both the website and their key channels - Instagram and LinkedIn for Burbeck Interiors and Instagram and Pinterest for Burbeck at Home. We also completed an upfront audit of all three websites, identifying ways to maintain Google rankings whilst merging two sites into one.

SOCIAL MEDIA

With two distinct brands and objectives, we developed bespoke campaigns for each, focused on the channels that would drive the most success.

For Burbeck Interiors, we created content pillars for both Instagram and LinkedIn, including thought leadership recommendations for Managing Director, Alex.

For Burbeck at Home, we activated their Instagram and Pinterest accounts, developing targeted content and identifying keywords that would drive engagement.

Whilst their Instagram channels were then brought back in-house to manage, we continued to support with strategic recommendations and content creation across LinkedIn and Pinterest, respectively.

SEO

Following a comprehensive audit, we mapped out the merger of their two group sites into one, ensuring that positive Google rankings were maintained. Once the migration was complete, we developed editorial calendars for both Burbeck Interiors and Burbeck At Home to improve discoverability and search performance. We also completed regular monthly technical improvements to the site to boost rankings and results.

We created monthly content for each of the websites using the outlined editorial calendar, publishing these on behalf of the Burbeck team and cross-promoting them on social media.

THE RESULTS

BURBECK INTERIORS

In the first 6 months, we saw engaged sessions increase by 452% and page views up by 573.6%.

On social media, we saw a 148% increase in account views and a 75% increase in interactions in the first two months alone. On LinkedIn, followers increased by 90% in 6 months, impressions increased by 65% and comments alone increased by 525%.

BURBECK AT HOME

For the Burbeck at Home website in the first 6 months, we saw a 156% increase in page views, a 161% increase in engaged sessions and in one month alone, we saw a 300% increase in conversions to the site.

On Pinterest, we saw a 25,158% increase in our audience, a 16,824% increase in impressions and outbound clicks to their website were up by over 1,200%. These are significant figures that would ultimately drive both brand awareness and sales for the company.
