THE CHALLENGE

WOW!house is the annual showhouse at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, bringing together 22 rooms by leading interior designers and luxury design brands.

Martin Moore has taken part for four years, this time with interior designer Samantha Bartlett to create a richly layered kitchen that introduced Legacy Vitae, a new expression of the brand's bespoke cabinetry.

The opportunity extended well beyond the room itself. Our challenge was to turn Martin Moore's participation into a sustained brand story, building anticipation before the doors opened, generating high-impact visibility during the event and creating value that would continue afterwards.

The campaign also needed to recognise the many supplier partners involved, while keeping Martin Moore's craftsmanship and luxury kitchen design expertise at its heart.

OUR SOLUTION

We developed a phased communications strategy spanning preview, launch and post-event activity. We started by working closely with the client to brainstorm and develop the new range name - Legacy Vitae. Two press releases then established the creative concept and announced the completed kitchen, followed by tailored media pitches, fresh post-installation imagery and direct briefings with key editors.

This approach allowed the story to evolve, rather than peak with a single announcement, and opened up angles around materials, craftsmanship, colour, technology and the new Legacy Vitae collection.

THE POWER OF PARTNERSHIP

Partnership was central to the campaign. We worked closely with all the partners, the WOW!house team and Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour to coordinate messaging, gather content and encourage collaborative social posts.

A 'Making of' series brought audiences behind the scenes, while partner-led Reels and Stories extended the campaign through the networks of designers, makers, media and visitors.

Extending the story online

On Martin Moore's own channels, we created a focused mix of Reels, carousels and Stories designed for discovery and sharing, supported by active community management throughout the event. Website and SEO content added depth to the campaign, using expert insight and partner contributions to create useful editorial stories with relevance beyond WOW!house.

THE RESULTS

The campaign secured over 35 pieces of UK and international coverage with a combined audience of 140 million, including features in several leading industry publications and national newspapers. This visibility, bolstered by direct editorial briefings, established a strong pipeline for future features and expert commentary.

Social media metrics showed significant growth: June content generated an 85% uplift in average views, with 87% of traffic coming from non-followers. Engagement metrics were notably strong, with saves rising by 975% and reposts increasing by nearly 2,500%.

The opening-day Reel alone captured over 140k views and 16k engagements, directly contributing to a near 10% increase in followers.

By integrating event coverage, collaborative social content, and earned editorial, the campaign successfully transformed a single event into a long-lasting platform for brand awareness and discovery.

Martin Moore have an excellent and successful on going relationship with Sandford for our digital comms and SEO, so it seemed the natural choice to appoint them to provide supporting PR for our WOW!house 2026 kitchen.

True to form, their team undertook full and thorough research to understand the project and our objectives.

Sandford utilised their extensive knowledge of the design industry, close relationships with the interiors press and great skill in producing high-quality communications to maximise publicity and also build strong on-going brand awareness. The communication between the two functions - digital comms and PR - was seamless and proved hugely beneficial.

Their insight, enthusiasm and hard work were invaluable to Martin Moore during the very busy period leading up to WOW!house and during the month it is open.
